The protective coating protects the varnish layer of the parquet against wear, scratching and other damage. This protective sealer film for parquet floors also has an anti-slip effect.

1 liter is sufficient for approximately 40 m2 per layer. The HG parquet protective coating is also available in a glossy version.

How does HG parquet protective coating matt finish work?

Follow the steps below for correct use of HG parquet protective coating matt finish.

  1. Do not shake before use, instead turn the bottle upside down a number of times.
  2. Then pour HG parquet protective coating matt finish undiluted on the floor and distribute it evenly over the floor, with the grain, using a wax spreader or roller. 
  3. After about 60 minutes, a second layer can be applied in the same direction onto the first layer
